• Court Reporting (Certificate)
  South Coast College teaches you all the skills you need to pass the Certified Shorthand Reporter exam and begin working as a court reporter.

• Legal Administrative Assistant (Certificate)
  South Coast College offers a Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate Program that includes training using automated legal programs. You will prepare court-ready documents and develop legal-procedures knowledge with emphasis on litigation. In short, we prepare you for a job as a qualified legal administrative assistant/legal secretary.

• Medical Assistant/Billing Specialist (Certificate)
  Our program is unique in that not only is billing/coding strongly emphasized, it also encompasses other aspects of a multi-tasked medical worker. Other components of the program include pharmacology, vital signs, medical law/ethics, sterilization techniques, anatomy, terminology, and human diseases, to name a few.

  Train for both front and back office work & participate in an externship. The Medical Assisting program also includes training for the role of Medical Billing Specialist as part of our normal curriculum.

• Paralegal Studies (Associate's Degree)
  Our degree program emphasizes specific areas of the law, such as: torts, civil law, contracts, bankruptcy, workers’ compensation, family law, real property, estates, wills, trusts, and criminal law. Students also develop skills in legal research, writing, and acquire a foundation in general education.
